Arcana Windows & Doors was contacted recently by Deana Wilson, owner and founder of Liam’s Mission. Liam’s Mission is a grassroots organization that provides care packages for children and seniors who are entering local hospitals.
Deana was inspired to start Liam’s Mission as her own son, Liam, was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis back in 2015. Liam is now 9 yrs old and still fighting strong.
Deana says “these kits are designed to provide a small yet comforting gesture for everyone who may be undergoing a lengthy stay in the hospital, often without any prior warning. The kits arrive to them with everything they could need coming into the hospital unexpectedly”.
Arcana Windows & Doors is excited to support this initiative. We were able to donate a large number of comfort kit items for seniors care kits.
Deana and Liam have delivered over 700 care kits to local hospitals this year, with a goal of delivering 2000 by the end of the year.
