As we reported early this year, there was in place a GreenON Rebates for High-performance Windows program. This awarded up to a $5000 rebate if you were installing high-efficiency windows. Arcana Windows and Doors as a Certified Window Wise dealer was able to assist you on such projects. We were pleased to help a good number of customers to benefit from this program.
Following the recent election, the GreenON program providing rebates for energy-conscious homeowners has now been cancelled. The GreenON website provides the following details:

If you’re already signed up for a rebate, it will be honoured if:
- You have a signed work agreement with a participating contractor being in place prior to June 19, 2018 for work that will be completed by August 31, 2018
- Your rebate application is submitted by September 30, 2018
A revision to this closure plan has now been made. Work on such projects must be completed by Oct. 30.
